Our training days are designed to make maximum use of the time available and are rigorous, interactive and challenging. Each workshop lasts up to 8 hours and a substantial part of each day is taken up with learning exercises.Creative team building is central to all our workshops.

Day 1

Coffee: 8.30am

  • Oxford TRIZ Solution Tools - 40 Principles/ 8 Trends/ Standard Solutions/ Effects/ World's knowledge / Road Maps for Understanding & Solving/ 
    Culture for Team Working

  • Ideal
    Ideality Audit/ Time & Scale/ Resources
    'Live problem' or  Case Study example: 'Getting to Go'  - Defined Directions forward.

  •  TRIZ Function Mapping
    'Live problem' or  Case Study example: Problem List Excess

  • TRIM
    6 Trimming Rules

  • Homework: Choose a Problem for the next day - read Case Studies

Day 2

Coffee: 8.00am
Start: 8.30am
Finish: 5pm

  • TRIZ toolkit revision  - with problem example: the Wind Tunnel - end to end process

    Choose either your 'Live problem' or  a Case Study example:
  • Problem Definition
  • TRIZ Function System Mapping
  • Problem Solutions
  • Select Solutions/Down Select - Taking forward choices

  • Homework: none. Oxford Creativity invite you all to dinner in central Oxford.

Day 3

Coffee: 7.30am
Start: 8.00am
Finish: 3:30pm

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Time & Scale
  • Map - uncover the likely causes of Problems  - linked and random
  • Oxford TRIZ and other RCA methods and toolkits

  • Either your 'Live problem' or  a Case Study example:
    9 Box Time & Scale/ Functions Mapping/ problem List
  • Contradictions:
    Uncovering
    Prioritise
    Resolve
  • Resources

  • Putting it all together
