We wish you a very prosperous and happy New Year. The Brunel cartoon reminds us that TRIZ turns good engineers into great engineers (could we all be like Brunel?) and how we should celebrate and enjoy enhancing our talents with TRIZ. January is exciting for us with the launch of the online Advanced Innovative Problem Solving workshops (15-19 January) – which completes our task of offering all our TRIZ teaching as both face to face and online options. We have hit the ground running as we are already delivering 2024 workshops and problem solving as well as working with teams on predicting likely technological futures. We are showing them how TRIZ tools reveal the trajectories from the past to the present giving us some insight into possible future directions.

My Year with TRIZ
I no Longer Remember how I used to Problem-solve
If you are thinking about starting your TRIZ journey in 2024 and want to learn more about other people's TRIZ journeys, I recommend Dr.Heather Kitts’ blog which takes us through her year-long TRIZ journey. Heather says it began at a conference where the only new thing mentioned was TRIZ. Intrigued, Heather researched Oxford TRIZ and succeeded in introducing it to her IT & software development colleagues at Oxford University. Heather describes her Oxford TRIZ journey which included working with us to design a bespoke in-house training course, specifically for her workplace, and commissioning a custom Oxford Creativity problem-solving workshop on how to create a more diverse and innovative IT workforce. Read Heather's blog to find out more and how and why TRIZ changed the ways she problem-solves.
