Use TRIZ to Innovate Your Intellectual Property

One-Day Course

This one-day course uses TRIZ to develop your patents and your intellectual property strategy.

You will apply VEA (Value Engineering Analysis) and TRIZ (the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) to learn how to break your competitor’s patents (Patent Breaking) and how to strengthen your own patent (Patent Building).

You will learn how to plan patent strategies depending on business objectives as well as to use trends of engineering system evolution for developing a “patent firewall” around your patent.

On completion of the course you will receive a diploma from the International TRIZ Association (MA TRIZ).

This is a hands-on workshop that enables you to get real results – you can bring a patent along that you wish to strengthen or circumvent, and leave with a number of ideas of how to do so. If confidentiality is an issue, we can supply you with a patent that you can practice on in the session, and you can apply the techniques to your patent later.

Therefore the tools are perfectly suited to circumvent and strengthening patents, as they will help you predict how patents are likely to evolve. Who can attend?

This workshop is designed for experienced TRIZ users only, as it requires a knowledge of and experience of using all the TRIZ tools. Participants should have completed an Advanced TRIZ workshop as a prerequisite.
